Any of you guys own one of these? I like how they look. They seem to have a round profile and low crown. They are also made with 100% cotton as opposed to Polyester. I'm on the fence about buying it, not sure what to expect. If any of you have one please share your thoughts. Thanks for reading guys.
PS. Here's the one I'm looking to buy:

Or wait to pick it up when they go on sale this fall. _________________ It's always a better day when you're in a hat |

Good idea. I'll wait until baseball season is over and see how much the prices drop.
PS I contacted the owner of MinorLeagues and they are getting a new stock of low crown caps in late september early october. The new stock includes the low crown black marlins cap. |

I've actually picked up a few of the 47 Brand caps, and I will say they are quite comfortable. I really like them, and they feel premium. The logo's are great too... I picked up a Brewers, and a few Packers caps. Really casual look to them, and love the broken in look.
I don't think you'd be disappointed. To be honest 47 Brand has been going up on my list of favorite companies, they do have some expensive shirts and stuff but their hats are really great. |

The guy in that picture looks weird with the low crown hat on. I am a 7 1/4 and my low crowns look great. I guess low crowns are better for people with smaller heads. |

I'd exercise caution on taking his post too seriously. His 1st cap is a 100% Polyester cap and his low-crown cap is 100% wool which could have had previous shrinkage (as it appears). It's also hard to say how old that wool cap is too, the later wool caps were more like the modern polyester ones, but prior to 2005 their crowns were extremely shallow.
If you check my blog post, both of the caps I have pictured were brand new and were purchased at the exact same time. The choice is up to you though. _________________ Visit my blog @ http://neweramlb.blogspot.com/ |

Ah that explains it. Didn't realize his low crown was a wool. Completely neglected that line of text . I did notice his low crown fit was nothing like yours, D-Back. I just took a second look at the photos in your blog post and they do indeed look entirely different. They have the same deepness but a more slanted and sloped crown. Guess I'll be ordering a few when MLMD gets the ones I want in stock (Marlins, Orioles Road) |

Well, got me the low crown marlins cap. It feels just about the same (except some tickling sensation I get from the new era piping rubbing on my forehead) and has nearly the same depth as the regular crown, but it does fit much closer to the head and gives the cap a round profile when looking at my face in the mirror. I must be nuts but I like my "Burger King Crown" marlins cap better. I'm gonna give it some time, maybe I get used to the look.
It's amazing how bad I wanted one and trashed the locomotive engineer look, only to not like it as much as I though it would. I think the choo choo train cap looks better on my head for sure, in spite of me having a small head.Odd. |

Sorry to bump an old thread but I tried 47 brand clean up adjustable hat. I'm a 7 5/8 in a fitted and these badly fit. I hate how the brim or visor is so short compared to new era hats. Even though it one size fits all seems like these would be better for kids or women I love the construction and look of the hat but the short visor and shallow beanie part just looks terrible on me. Would new eras 9twenty line of hats be similar? |
