I only have one; I bought a used one and it's kinda dusty and musty. I'm not too familiar with leather as I don't own a lot of it except for belts and shoes. How should I go about cleaning it without doing any damage to the cap or affecting the life or odor of the cap in a negative way?

I would use saddle soap, it's around 5 bucks and comes in a little circular tin. You can get it at Walmart around the shoe section. The directions on how to use it are on the container, it restores leather somewhat as well as cleans it. It also works pretty well on restoring old leather sweatbands in caps that have begun to crack. I'd give that a shot.

I'll give that a go, I'll see if I can find an alternative since I'm not in the US right now. Thanks for the advice!
