I was wondering how you guys store your caps' , I personally store my caps' in boxes by colour.

I don't know if it's a thread like this, but if it is please tell me.

The boxes I store my caps' in look something like the small one's in this pic:

I don't know who that is the owner of that pic.

Ya I wanna know too. i'm starting a pretty decent size collection and I don't wear the hats all the time and keeping them folded like that makes me worried that over time they'll develop a crease or discoloration. I'm moving out of the country for a year and I don't know if its a good idea to keep them folded like that for too long. Anyone disagree?

As far is storing is concerned, is it better to fold/tuck them ( the hats) or leave them untucked? Ive been debating on storage as my collection has grown. I currently hang them from the wall or have them on the shelf. I want to "tupper wear" them as many other people have stored them, but worried that that will make permanent creases....any answers out there in the hat internets?

I think tucking them in is best because the folded in part supports the hat and helps keep it shape. If you leave them unfolded there is no support and could sag, loose shape, wrinkle or get crushed. The majority of my hats are creased at the part where I tuck the hat in but they're straight lines and no one could notice unless they look closely at the hat. I mean there is a reason why new hats are always tucked in. Put your hats in tupper wear you save more space and protect your hats from the elements.

I have mine hanging on the wall. I notice dust is starting to form on some of them but no issues with discoloration. I'm curious though, @kcari how many hats fit into each drawer?

I have over 50 caps and those little containers can start to add up especially since I don't have any plans to stop buying hats anytime soon.

I just bought this at walmart for 8 bucks. Looks like the new era one, but bigger and cheaper and it's white instead of black. Should work just fine.

Hats do need to breath a bit tho guys. If you haven't noticed all the new era containers have some holes to allow air into the container. So, they must do that for a reason.
