I know you do not want to hear this, but I have found sizing inconsistencies with these hats, at least with the MiLB hats. I have one that is 7 5/8 (my size) and another that is 7 3/4 and fits exactly like my 7 5/8. They are both low crown.

I have several MLB DE hats, but they are are all standard crown. However, the ones I have tried on in the store seem fairly true to size.
