Yeah, it's the plan to have a full wall when I move into my own place but for now I have next to no room so it's just storage boxes for the time being

Here's my dilemma: I want to be able to look at my hats whenever I want, rather than having to pull them out of my drawer. I also don't want them to get really dusty. Any suggestions? Also, instead of pushing one hat behind another so as to keep the form, would those cardboard inserts work just as well?

I think your only option would be some kind of hat wall. I am not sure how you would keep the dust off. That is the biggest reason why I have never done one.

Thats exactly what I did. Went and bought a big piece of peg board and a bunch of 8 inch and 10 inch hooks. So far I've got about 115 hats on my wall. I had posted a picture of it when I first put it up.

Here is the link:

All in all it cost me about $50 to build, mostly being the hooks.

i have put all my hats on shelves and put each hat in either the bag that they get shipped to me in or some clear smaller garbage bags. i live on a farm so the dust is quite plentiful and this seems to work well for me. i am like you i like to look at them and dont want to fold them.
