Cool cap isn't it? Have you ever looked at the Yankees caps on myfitteds.com? I've bought several from them because the NY logo is more authentic to the 50's & 60's KM Pro caps. (Which the Yankees wore back then) The NY logo on this new cap seems more of a throwback also. I wonder when the team will be wearing them on the field. Does anyone know?

I love that Yankees cap, I'm still surprised I didn't come home with it from my trip to Phoenix and HatClub.

That Yankees hat is cleeeaan! I might actually have to make my first Yankee purchase. Also if anyone is a 7 1/8 there's a Diamondbacks Turn Ahead the Clock hat up on Ebay.

MLB Shop and Ecapcity have the White Sox Sunday retros up, no Astros sightings yet.

I wonder if the general sale version will have the 50th patch and the Team Shop will have the on field patchless ones?

I got mine at HatClub in Phoenix. They are available on their website too.

I know the gamers are at HC but the Flashback Fridays/Retros aren't up yet? I was referring to the latter as my 80's Astro hat is ready to be retired.

As well there seems to be conflicting info on whether the retros will/won't have the patch.

Red Sox 1912 cap is up on MLB Shop. I have purchased every on-field Sox cap made available through retail (except the 2004 all-star cap that I slept on), but I can truly say I have zero interest in this. I will be on board for the 1936 model, however, and has anyone heard anything about the remaining two throwback dates for Fenway this year? I'm assuming there will be a 1975-78 era game. Maybe 1946?

Thanks for the heads up, Soxkrazy!

I can certainly see why people would have little to no interest in this cap, but for me, it's hard to pass up the opportunity to purchase a one or two-time turn back the clock cap as a majority are never released for general retail. I think I'm going to pick this one up (I mean, I purchased the plain black 1936 Padres cap so, what the hell?, I figure) Very Happy

I went to the A's game today and asked the team store if they would have caps for the PCL game in July. They said "probably". I didn't see any retro caps in the team store or at the "New Era Cap Corner" inside the stadium.

Lids.com has the Colt .45s hat on the site listed as "Flashback Fridays." Looks different than the hat the team wore. I ordered it, and will let you guys know all about it when I receive it.

insomniac, i was there with my son, too. Was a great game and day. I did manage to sneak a peek at their hat selection (which is kind of sparse, IMHO). The best spot for hats was that linear storefront right behind the homeplate section. Next to a concrete ramp. I saw an Atleticos which i had not seen before as well as some designs i haven't seen in Lids or Hatclub. But i will be at the TBTC game vs the Mariners, so i will see if they have anything cool in stock at that game. I'm curious to see if they decide to sell an NE hat with the Oaks logo.

Another member snagged one from a Houston Lids and they were 100% poly and USA made, fingers crossed the ones on the site are the same.
