"Classic Wool" 59fiftys

Hey guys,

My next I-need-to-have-it cap seems to be a black Rockies fitted with the silver/purple logo and a grey undervisor.

After accepting that I will never find a 1998 ASG in a 5/8, I've been trying to find some alternatives, and have come across the"Classic Wool" series on the US NE webstore.

Every google I do of other 59fiftys in this "Classic Wool" series they show a grey undervisor, but the NE webstore does not show or specify this:

Does anyone have one of these, or any other team's fitted in this series, or can otherwise confirm they have a grey undervisor?

I bought a Yankees one last year and it does have a grey under visor. I hope this helps.

Does anyone know if the "ticket stub moments" fitteds have a gray undervisor? I want something side-patchy, preferably.

I see some 5/8s originals on eBay often. I see some now.

I see some older mlbshop stock list their heritage series as classic wools. Those ones have tonal flags. Those appear grey under too.

Be vague with Google searches or on IG and you may find a classic wool example. I'll keep my eyes posted.

Yeah I mean I love the 90s-era 5950s but due to Britain's weather I can't take the chance with the potential cardboard brim insert vs the modern plastic ones (I'm not sure on what year they stopped using card).

I have seen the heritage series but can't find any in stock, unfortunately.

I have also discovered that what NE call the "Classic Wool" series and what Lids call the "Wool Classic" series are different; the latter appears to be the cooperstown/diamond collection remakes, whereas the former just looks like an on-field with a grey undervisor and a white sweatband from google searches.

I have found a Retro Classic in my size and desired colourway on Lids, and the "Wool Classic" that I linked to on NE's webstore and am debating which one to order - whilst I know for a fact the Retro Classic has the grey undervisor, I prefer 3d embroidery and a modern silhouette; so the Wool Classic would be preferable if it does indeed have a grey undervisor.

Either way I will need to use a forwarding service, so I want to be dead sure I am getting what I want.
