Anyone else noticed this? In one on my on-field 5950's with the regular red, white, and blue batterman on the back, upon very close examination - a couple of thick thread endings that stick out in the white silhouette of the batter appear to have a yellowish tinge to them. It's almost as if they have some type of glue residue on them. Not really a huge deal because you can't tell from far away, but wondering if this is common. Can't recall seeing this on any other cap.
Thanks. |

I have tons of these. On a lot of my caps I find this. It looks almost like the end of a rubberband. I assume it's pieces of whatever they use under the thread to make it raised. _________________ Twitter: @LegalAmerican4

Yep, several of mine have this issue. With at least one it's very prominent all over the center of the batterman and is probably noticeable even from afar. |

Exactly.
I wonder if you can take a thicker needle and try to poke some of these back under the white threads…? |

Is it the foam under the threads or actual yellow threads? _________________ The Ballcap Blog is back: @ http://ballcapblog.blogspot.com |

I think a little of both. It's hard to notice unless in very bright light. But what appears to be sticking out are thread / glue ends that are yellow. I'm really just intrigued, as I only have one cap (right now) that does this. I'm probably not going to risk screwing the entire logo up just because of a few yellow threads. |
