I used to have that flying dick Angels hat. I wish I didn't send it to Good Will. _________________ IG: erie_warrior19

One of the best years for On-Fields. I love the Orioles and blue jays from this era. Thanks for posting _________________ My collection https://www.flickr.com/photos/135974185@N07/albums |

Very nice poster! I didn't realize that the Rays hat with the purple brim was an on-field... |

What a good looking crop of hats. Brings back memories. I remember being a kid and loved seeing the yearly poster like that New Era sent stores. I wanted to buy it. Also, love the old Umpire caps. Wouldn't mind seeing those done when a team throws back to the era. I know the Padres throw =back to the 1998 season on Wednesday Day games, wish the umps (and opposing team) for that matter participated. |

Makes me feel old, but I have most of these...Not all in the best condition mind you, but I think I have all except for the Red Redsox, Blue Bluejays, Black Dbacks, AL Umpire and Padres Alt. |

Very cool, thanks for sharing. I stumbled across a newer one of these a year or two ago but the page it was at seems to have been taken down unfortunately.
And it's hard to believe just how old the BFBS fad is. Also remarkable that the incredibly generic Pads alt from that period has lasted all this time and even become their primary cap. |

weird to see both Marlins teal still as Road and Alternate, I thought by 1997 they were both gone |
I agree. I don't think they wore them after '96. I didn't know they even still made them after '97. _________________ IG: erie_warrior19

Difference between a team not wearing them and a team formally dropping them.
A's had their original black alt as an alt and NE kept it in production for at least 10 years after it was last worn.
These things happen a lot. _________________ It's always a better day when you're in a hat |

Bingo.
The newest addition to that list is the Dbacks regular Sedona hat, still an official alt but will not be worn by the team. The head scratcher is they deleted the black non-teal non-gradient AC but left the Sedona alone. So they clearly know how to fill out the forms... _________________ It's always a better day when you're in a hat |
