Sorry to bring back an old thread, but I have a question.

For anyone who has ordered directly from Ebbets Field Flannels, how long did it take to receive your order?

I ordered a hat that was listed as in stock on January 20.

It took them about 2 months to ship out my hat

Damn! And was it one that was in stock? Just a standard order?

It was backordered, so yours shouldn't take as long

I'm looking into buying some stuff from EFF. Their products look really nice. I do have a few questions, though.

#1 Has anyone ever tried their tshirts? Are they really worth $30?

#2 I've heard mixed reviews about their customer service. Some it's wonderful. Others say
it's terrible. Can anyone speak to this?

#3 I read a review of something (I forget what it was) where the person said the clothing felt plasticy. This makes it sound like they're making a cheap product and charging a lot. Is this true?

Thanks for your help! I love anything vintage, and I really love baseball. I think it's even better when the two are combined!

1) I have five of their t-shirts and like them all. The material is very nice and the fit is good. I wish the neck lines were a bit higher, but that is because I like a high neck. I'm sure for most people it is perfect.

2) Their customer service seems to be nonexistent. I've e-mailed them before and never received a response. Fortunately, I've never had a major issue with my orders so not a huge deal.

When I ordered the t-shirts, I ordered the five shirt bundle pack. They shipped four of the shirts immediately, but he last one did not arrive for like another 6-8 weeks. They never let me know what was going on.

I think they get really backed up around Christmas and cannot keep up with the demand.

3) See #1 - clothing is nice. I've own three hats and five t-shirts. A friend of mine owns some of their jerseys and likes them. Their products serve a very unique niche in the baseball clothing market. I've been happy with all my purchases.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Scott addressed pretty much everything but I'll add my two cents, Hathead.

Ordered a NY Knights cap and jersey as presents around Xmas. They were pretty good about taking my phone call when I had a question and got the second gift I ordered out by the time I had requested on the order page. Cap is very high quality, definitely worth the price when you use their frequent discounts. Jersey is also very well made but the wool is old school, ie exceptionally rough and itchy to the touch. Feels quite different from the Mitchell and Ness wool jerseys I've handled.

Thanks for the input Guy!

I have my eye on their Montreal Royals and Toronto Maple Leafs hats. And those satin underbrims look top notch!

The satin is pretty cool. I like to bend the brims on my hats and found doing so with the EFF hats to be exceptionally difficult. They would not hold the bend. If that's something you are into, let me know and I'll write out my methods that have proven successful.

I seriously doubt you would be disappointed with any purchase you make from EFF. You might not be over the moon about their stuff, but it is definitely worth having a few items in your collection if you're into what they sell.
