I could be mistaken but I believe last year "Hatland" had the St Patrick's Day hats up first before any other sites (lids, MLBshop) and we had a discussion
somewhere on here about how odd that was. Well the same thing this year, from what I can tell. |

I believe there's some discussion on the St. Patrick's day caps, and their availability at Hatland, a page or two back.

The first six episodes of season 2 might be my favorite stretch of any live action comedy ever. So many great moments from those episodes, including all the Charlie Brown bits.
The Mayonegg bit for example just slays me. Cera looks ridiculous of course, not to mention perverse, but it's Bateman's transition from curiosity to horror that I love most:

Picked up the 2017 Detroit Tigers St. Patty's Day cap at my local Lid's this afternoon. It's kind of a tight fit for a 7 1/2, however... it is Made in USA of Imported Materials! It fits a lot like the 2013 and 2014 4th of July DE's. Love the side patch tho it is already coming off a bit. What do you guys use to keep them on or reattach?

Wow, love the crown and brim on that DE, SpartanFan. Very nice pickup!
And I've seen several posters recommend Goop for attaching patches. Worked well enough for me when I used it myself. |

Was thinking the same, the shape of that DE looks really nice. |

Thanks Guy! I'll definitely have to go pick up some Goop then. Since I posted the pics, I worked the brim some more and it fits better, not as tight. |

Yeah CM, it was an easier one to shape for me and fits sorta like a low-crown, even tho it's not. |

On my latest Lids visit, I saw that they had the new Rockies two-tone in stock. I know that Legal American has already reported on them but I'll add that the one I inspected was MUSA with imported materials, had low to medium quality poly and a relatively stiff crown. I would not have bought it even if I was on the lookout for one. The flag was embroidered (it's technically a new cap after all) and the silver didn't look bad in person.
On the same visit I stopped by a nearby Lids Locker Room and was shocked to see full rows of low crown Phillies (both the primary and the alt), Mets and Yankees caps. Never seen anything like that at a Lids. Unfortunately every Mets, Yankees and Phils primary was Chino trash. The Phils alts looked to be 100% MUSA however. They had something like 20 of them in various sizes so if anyone wants me to pick one up at the Lids discount price, lemme know. I'll be back at the store next weekend at the latest. All of these caps were flagged btw. |

New Reds AC is...something.
It's another "military" themed affair. _________________ It's always a better day when you're in a hat |
