As the resident Great Lakes fan in the forum (I think), the reason that it looks like the Loons logo is that they were both done by Brandiose. Not much you can change between two birds that look ROUGHLY similar. Wondering what other caps there might be tho besides the swinging Duck? |

Yeah i knew they were both done by Brandiose, but you're right about the birds themselves looking roughly similar. As far as other caps go, im hoping for a cap with a letter in their wordmark. I really like it and i feel like a WD in their wordmark on cap would look really good if done right.

It's great kinston has a team again. They have a nice stadium. I went there years ago in the off season (before my nect days) and they were nice enough to open the store so I could grab a hat .

Both Spinners 'L' caps are beautiful. The 'L' looks great in the Red Sox font.
And the 'Rainbow Row' RiverDogs cap is something else. It makes the Expos pinwheel design look conservative. lol |

For my Padres Taco Bell fanatics; Ebbets Field Flannels will be reproducing the 1983 Las Vegas Stars taco bell cap. It will be available for pre-order next week. This cap will be structured like a 5950 with wool serge fabric, not unstructured with wool broadcloth like their typical caps.

| How soon do caps for new teams come out? Looking to get a A-Advanced Buies Creek Astros hat when it comes out. April 6 is opening day. They are temporarily in Buies Creek for 2 years until they move to Fayetteville when the stadium is done being built. |

They were asked that on Twitter and their response was:
"Game hats coming soon"
That was on January 15th.  |

They've been selling gear and Campbell University games but no game caps yet from what I've heard.
As for the Fayetteville team name, let's just say I have a good source and that the city is 50/50 on not doing anything military related for the team name. Most civilians want a military name but most vets/service members in the city want something else so that they don't see military stuff even at a ballpark on a nice spring day.
The "Bambinos" are a serious name in contention but they'll be having a contest soon online. |
